Associate Technical Producer
Interactive Division
The Sun-Sentinel, a subsidiary of Tribune Company, is seeking a full time Associate Technical Producer to work at our Fort Lauderdale location.
Position Responsibilities: Develop, operate and maintain multiple websites, including portals, e-commerce, and content management systems (CMS). Update websites graphics and content as needed. Develop dynamic applications and user interfaces for all company websites.
Qualifications & Requirements: Strong skills in HTML and CSS, internet file formats and web coding concepts. Experience with PHP, MySQL, Javascript, XML and Ajax. Good understanding of Web usability and user information interface, with a strong user/consumer orientation required. Good working knowledge of open source web applications. Experience with Java, Ruby on Rails and use of Google Maps JavaScript API is a strong plus. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with a high level of service orientation.
