WASHINGTON (AP) _ Radek Dvorak, Ville Peltonen and Gregory Campbell had a goal and an assist each, and the Florida Panthers beat the Washington Capitals 5-3 Tuesday night.

This is quite different for the Bruins than it was last season. They slid into the Eastern Conference playoffs in the final days, surprising many in the NHL by their feat. This season, the Bruins find themselves in "unchartered territory," defenseman Dennis Wideman says. They find themselves atop the Northeast Division, battling for the best record in the conference. And as coach Claude Julien has stressed to his team, it's a role that isn't easily maintained.
