Broward Next 11 -- Super 11 Honorable Mention

The Super 11 is often open to debate for high school football enthusiasts.

Here are those next 11 players who could garner attention throughout the season.

St. Thomas Aquinas senior wide receiver Dwayne Difton is another pass-catching threat to complement Duron Carter. Senior defensive back Conor O'Neill also proved to be a force on special teams, returning a kickoff for a touchdown for St. Thomas in last year's Class 5A championship game. Northeast defensive end David Gilbert is a talented prospect and could be one of the county's best.

Deerfield Beach senior safety Adrian Witty is coming off a knee injury and will anchor a strong secondary for the Bucks. He will also be used at wide receiver. Senior linebacker Austin Gamble helps give Cypress Bay one of the best front sevens in the county. Miramar senior wide receiver Stedman Bailey had 791 yards and 8 touchdowns in a high-powered passing offense last season. Hallandale senior Victor Marc, a transfer from Dr. Krop, will give the Chargers an upgrade at quarterback.

St. Thomas senior quarterback Ryan Becker makes good decisions and helped lead the Raiders to the 5A state title. Senior running back Jason Douglas rushed for 1,103 yards and 16 touchdowns a year ago for Cypress Bay. Senior tackle Steven Jacques is big and will anchor South Broward's offensive line. Senior wide receiver Victor Keise, of North Broward Prep, was one of Broward's top pass-catching threats as a junior. He has verbally committed to Minnesota.

Devon Wright, a junior running back from Taravella, lit up opponents last year with 1,287 yards and 11 TDs.
